WELCOME TO THE NEW AND BETTER WEB SITE!

Hope everyone had a great summer although it went way too fast!  But we still have some beautiful and colorful days ahead. Take the time to enjoy them!

It’s the time of year that many of our members will heading south!

Let‘s wish them all a safe trip and a warm sunny stay wherever they may be.  The last Sunday Breakfast will be in October and November.

The First Friday Dinners will continue throughout the winter. And don’t forget about Burger Nite every Tuesday, with Bar Bingo starting at 7 pm.  It’s been a full house so come early.

Vikings are back in action, so come to the Legion and enjoy watching with your fellow fans!  There is a schedule in the Legion, it’s posted on door into the bar area.  The Legion will open I hour prior to the start of each game.  It’s always fun to cheer the Viks on to the Super Bowl!

Post 86 has had some things to celebrate the last few months!

  • American Legion Post 86 Baseball Team won the State

Championship!!!!  We all celebrated with them on one

of our Burger Nites!  Congrats to you ALL.

  • The 100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE AMERICAN LEGION was

Celebrated with about 50 attendees (wish we would have

had more).  Thanks to all who attended and especially to

everyone who volunteered to help out.

Don’t forget about the First Friday Dinners!!  Oct 4 is almost here so join everyone for a Walleye Dinner.  It is put on by the Color Guard.  So, come out and support them.  The First Friday Dinners will continue through the winter.  We need your support.

Our Annual Veteran’s Dinner (Membership) will be on Oct. 19. Contact the Post for more details.  On November 11 our nation honors all veterans who have served our country.

The Annual Children’s Christmas Party will be held on Dec. 13th.

Everything will be as in the past.  Contact the Post Commander, Gary Clepper for more information.  As 2019 comes to a close on December 31st, the Legion will celebrate with a Walleye and Prime Rib Dinner, and that’s not all.  Soooo don’t miss out

It takes everyone doing just one small job to keep our Post

going.  We have many who volunteer all the time and we need everyone just to help out one time.  Thanks to all that can help.
